There are a lot of things coming to the fore right now. In Germany, orphans were abused in that they had to work like mules, and got beaten, and really abused physically by the Church people, and there have been many reports recently that they never really got over it.

Abuse.

And it always gets the 'apologetic' number. They wrecked those people's lives.

I'll never forget hearing that a 'brother' in a Catholic school smashed a kid's head into a blackboard, because he wasn't behaving, and the kid had a skull fracture.

Or an Aunt of mine who couldn't cope with a teenage daughter, and called in a priest.

It was horrible.

It is never about belief, or doing good works, or all the other things in the new testament... it is about 'control'.

Shutting up now, and won't go on. All I ever saw was a design to make people suffer, and be guilt ridden....
