There is a site I have been wanting to recomend for a while now...

Steve Hayes, who does 'Tired Old Queen At The Movies'... and the first time I ran across him, he really put me off with his schtick. But he has grown on me, because he really knows what he is talking about. He recommends DVDs that are vintage, and tells you the good stuff he knows about what was behind it all.

I've come to like him. And he never recommends a bomb. I can't find his homepage on short notice, but here's a sample. Be warned, the girl is 'over the top' but knows her stuff.
